InnoTrans 2016 is a biannual trade fair and convention dedicated to transport technology, and will be held from September 20-23 this year in Berlin. At the last convention in 2014, over 130,000 visitors from 146 countries gathered to experience innovations presented by 2,761 international rail industry exhibitors from 55 countries. This year’s exhibitors will have the same international profile, as will the convention’s trade visitors: 60 percent will travel from countries as far as Brazil, India, China, and the United States in order to attend.

Giuseppe Attoma has published a series of three articles for the occasion, focusing on the importance of rethinking information and mobility systems in the transportation domain. The first is entitled “Information and Mobility: Empowering Users in the Face of Urban Chaos.”
